KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will temporarily close the road shoulder after the exit lane of the Bangi Toll Plaza towards Bandar Baru Bangi from today until June 28 next year to facilitate road widening works.

In a statement today, PLUS said the works were scheduled to take approximately eight months as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to improve highway facilities and enhance users’ comfort.

The closure will only be implemented during off-peak hours, from 10 pm to 5.30 am, to minimise disruption to traffic flow in the area.

Motorists passing through the area are advised to slow down, comply with safety signs and the stipulated speed limits, and follow instructions from personnel at the site.

Users are also advised to plan their journeys and obtain the latest traffic updates through the PLUS app, the company’s official social media platforms, including its X account @plustrafik, and electronic message signs (VMS) at selected locations.

For current traffic information or emergency assistance on the highway, users can contact PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000. — Bernama
