IL CARO-CASA IN SPAGNA

  • Il giorno dopo il no del Parlamento ai decreti del governo Sanchez per contrastare la crisi abitativa in Spagna - che potrebbe portare anche a nuove elezioni - sono riprese nel Paese le manifestazioni di protesta. A dare il via alle contestazioni è stato nelle scorse settimane il caso di Maricarmen, la donna di 87 anni sfrattata (e poi fatta rientrare) dall’appartamento in cui viveva da 70 anni.

LE PROTESTE A MADRID

  • Nella capitale Madrid sono partite oggi quattro colonne di manifestanti per il diritto alla casa, che da nord, sud, est e ovest della capitale convergono sulla centrale Plaza Cibeles, in segno di protesta per la bocciatura in Parlamento di due decreti legge d'urgenza di misure contro la crisi abitativa.

  • E cortei, convocati dai sindacati degli inquilini in oltre 50 città spagnole, si svolgono contemporaneamente da nord a Sud del Paese, da Santander in Cantabeia, a Santiago di Compostela, in Galizia, a Palma de Maiorca, alle Baleari. Mobilitazioni in massa sono previste anche a Barcellona, a Toledo, a Vigo, ad Alicante e a Malaga, tra le altre.

LE PAROLE DEL SINDACATO

  • "Quella che si respira nelle strade è una nuova energia. Un'energia che ha dimostrato in 8 giorni il potere popolare è capace di fare molto di più che in 8 anni di governo progressista", ha dichiarato la portavoce del Sindicato de Inquilinas, Valeria Racu. E ha ripetuto la volontà degli attivisti di "portare avanti la lotta". "Sappiamo perfettamente chi sono i colpevoli: i veri invasori sono gli investitori", ha aggiunto riferendosi ai fondi 'avvoltoio' di speculazione edilizia.

ARRESTI E FERITI

  • Un gruppo di una trentina di manifestanti sarebbe riuscito a entrare nel complesso, superando l'imponente cordone di polizia a protezione del complesso, ripreso nelle immagini rinviate in diretta dall'emittente pubblica Tve. Per sgomberarli e allontanare i manifestanti la polizia ha impiegato gas lacrimogeni ed esploso a scopo dissuasorio alcune pallottole di gomma. Almeno due persone sono state arrestate mentre nove poliziotti sono risultati feriti negli scontri.

GLI INCIDENTI

  • A Valencia gli incidenti sono avvenuti vicino al complesso del Palau de las Artes, dove era in corso un congresso sugli investimenti immobiliari. Secondo la polizia, una trentina di persone ha abbattuto le transenne e le ha lanciate con altri oggetti contro il cordone di agenti. Poliziotti in tenuta antisommossa sono intervenuti con cariche contro i manifestanti, con gas lacrimogeni e pallottole di gomma. Secondo fonti di polizia citate dall'Efe, uno degli arrestati avrebbe lanciato "bengala, sampietrini e transenne" contro i poliziotti.
