The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the victims include two security personnel and a foreign national working on the road project, while two civilians sustained gunshot injuries.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kebbi Command, Bashir Usman, said it occurred in Gubba village, in the Andarai District of Maiyama Local Government Area.
The PPRO said armed men suspected to be Lakurawa terrorists, allegedly encroaching from the Kebbe axis of neighbouring Sokoto State, attacked the construction site, killing two security personnel and a foreign national.
