As America commemorates 25 years since the September 11 attacks, a tribute-filled TV lineup is helping to capture the day. Every year since 2001, the public art installation Tribute in Light has illuminated the New York City skyline, and on the eve of Sept. 11, 2026, a performance-filled special event, culminating in the city’s illumination, is set to stream on Hulu.

The one-hour special will be hosted live from New York City by World News Tonight anchor David Muir, Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts and anchor Diane Sawyer. Cyndi Lauper, Lainey Wilson and John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting will perform from the base of the installation’s beams.

The TV special will stream live on Hulu on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
