Coronation Street reveals Daniel's shocking attack after Adam's betrayal

Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne discovers that Adam Barlow is representing the enemy next week – so furiously attacks him in the street.
Daniel's tireless campaign to protect the school's land has already been an uphill battle – but now Adam is supporting Idris Nazir and stabbing his own family in the back. Will Adam retreat from the fight and side with his family?

"Daniel's been lied to and double crossed," explains our source. "Adam's been sitting on this secret for a while, letting Daniel thanklessly organise a petition. This is a battle of morals, and as far as Daniel's concerned, Adam has none."
The campaign to save the Weatherfield High land has been progressing slowly, but Daniel is given a boost at the start of the week when he submits his article to the Gazette.
He calls in to see Ken Barlow – who gave him the idea to write a rallying cry for the paper – and over lunch with the family the Gazette calls to confirm they want to publish it. But while Ken and Daniel celebrate this small victory, Adam and Alya Nazir hide their guilty expressions…
"Adam gives the impression he's Team Barlow, but he's lying," reveals our insider. "It's not just deceitful to sit on this secret, Adam could be collecting inside information and strengthening Idris's case. He could totally screw Daniel over."
The next day, as Alya and Adam concentrate on Marco's appeal, Alya assures Summer Spellman that Adam is all prepared and ready to go for court. However, the solicitor is soon waylaid when he bumps into Daniel – and he's livid.

Having discovered the truth about Idris's involvement in the land grab and Adam's representation, Daniel demands answers. But when Adam brushes it off, admitting they couldn't afford to turn down business, Daniel can't contain his rage – and punches him.
"The pair soon start a full-on fight in the street," warns our spy. "Adam's left with a bloody nose, then he launches himself at Daniel, shoving him against the wall. Things get so heated Tyrone has to pull them apart."
Ken and Amy Barlow witness the scuffle and are horrified to see the pair using their fists. When Tyrone manages to separate them, Daniel storms off, but bloodied Adam is due in court.

Unable to attend the appeal looking so bruised and battered, Adam's forced to go home to change, but ends up having to race to the court. When he finally arrives, Summer's in floods of tears. Did Adam make it on time?
With the rest of the Barlows left processing Daniel and Adam's fight, will their ongoing division cause a permanent rift in the family? Or might Ken be able to persuade Adam to fight for the right cause and abandon his support of ruthless Idris?
