The New York Giants are releasing Odell Beckham Jr., sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, after the veteran wide receiver failed to make a significant impact over his first three games back with the team.
Beckham, a longtime fan favorite, was one of the last players to make the Giants' 53-man roster earlier this month after impressing throughout training camp.
But Beckham struggled to earn consistent playing time once the season started and logged only one target over the Giants' first three games.
Beckham, 33, played just six offensive snaps in Sunday's 12-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The three-time Pro Bowler is second in Giants franchise history in receiving yards.
