RRRomeo pushes beyond the R&B sound with which Girl Ultra first made her name, pulling from garage rock, house, pop, funk, and other sounds.

Chromeo also appear on RRRomeo itself, most notably on “Ironía,” which features Dave 1 singing in Spanish for the first time. The collaboration builds on a relationship that stretches back several years and eventually saw Girl Ultra join the Canadian duo on tour. Buscabulla, Empress Of, and French producer Jean Tonique also make guest appearances on the album.

The 2027 tour kicks off February 2nd at Minneapolis’ 7th St Entry and runs through March 3rd at Seattle’s Barboza, with stops in Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Austin, and Los Angeles.
