Has Sam Fender shared the locations of his 2027 UK stadium tour?

Translate

Sam Fender has seemingly shared the stadiums he may be playing as part of a 2027 UK tour – and it could include his biggest headline show to date.

The North Shields star dropped a new video on social media yesterday (October 19), having previously shown an advertisement for ‘SF27’ during Newcastle United’s defeat to Aston Villa at St James’ Park over the weekend.

In the Lord Of The Rings-inspired clip, two fans fight over who gets to launch the pyrotechnics at various stadiums around the country – presumably all the spots where Fender will play as part of the tour.

When they do eventually press the button, it is St James’ that is the first to be seen – where the singer played three headline shows in 2025 and two headline dates in 2023. Also seen is Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, Ireland’s Malahide Castle, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.

The last venue to be shown is the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium in London, which will mark the biggest headline show Fender has played so far if it is confirmed. “The Beacons Are Lit!” read the caption, and more details are expected to be shared at a later date.

The announcement comes amid a huge year for Fender. While he has not played any headline shows or dropped any new music, he has been the recipient of the Songwriter Of The Year award at the Ivor Novellos, bagged Song Of The Year award at the BRITs 2026, and broken the record for the longest-running UK Number One single of all time with his Olivia Dean duet ‘Rein Me In’.

His last tour saw him raise £50,000 from ticket sales for the charity Youth Music, and he also dropped a he ‘Live At London Stadium’ concert film that captured the huge ‘People Watching’ shows.

While no tour dates have been officially announced for 2027, it is highly speculated that Fender could be one of the names confirmed for Glastonbury next summer.

Early bookmakers’ favourites have included him, along with Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Little Simz, while Harry Styles, Radiohead, Fontaines D.C., Muse and The Rolling Stones. If Fender is confirmed, it will be his first slot at Worthy Farm since 2022.
