The US Embassy in Riyadh issued a security alert regarding the current security situation in Saudi Arabia, warning of the potential for drone or missile attacks targeting the Saudi Arabia.

In a security alert issued on October 5, the embassy strongly urged all US citizens in Saudi Arabia to exercise caution and vigilance, and to follow the directives contained in national alerts issued by the Saudi Civil Defense.
