How to play CoD MW4 multiplayer early on all platforms

CoD MW4 is almost here, and Infinity Ward has released the campaign and DMZ early, but you can play multiplayer ahead of the full launch on any platform with a simple trick.

This has been the case on platforms like Xbox for years, but now you can actually use the same trick on any platform thanks to your Activision account.

Here is a rundown of the steps to take.

To play CoD MW4 multiplayer early, you need to head to the Call of Duty website, log into your account and select the "basic info tab".

Then change your address to a location in New Zealand.

Save the change, and you can load into multiplayer next time you boot up CoD MW4.

Additionally, if you are on Xbox or the Xbox app for PC, you can do this after changing your location via the Language and Location option in the menu.

It is that simple. Don't forget to change your location back after a few days to ensure your information on your console and/or Call of Duty account is accurate. But this gives you a head start in the multiplayer, which is already rolling out across several regions.
