  • Palantir Technologies (PLTR) was in the spotlight on Monday as it announced a new deal with managed cloud provider Knox Systems to deliver software delivery to the U.S. federal government via the cloud.
  • The deal between Knox, which already supports more than 100 software and artificial intelligence apps across federal environments, and Palantir will increase the speed of deployment of mission-critical software in FedRAMP and IL5 environments, the companies said in a statement.
  • Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
  • “The mission can't wait for technology to catch up,” Palantir executive Kevin Kawasaki said. “We built our business to get not only our software, but other mission-critical software and tooling, into the hands of the warfighter and the U.S. Government, quickly and securely, and in the most highly regulated environments. We are proud to work with Knox to deliver against the next wave of this effort, and scale this impact of this work more broadly.”
  • Palantir shares fell fractionally in premarket trading.
