'Ramayana: Part One' India release date changed to Nov 5?

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash’s much-anticipated mythological epic ‘Ramayana: Part One’ could arrive in Indian theatres earlier than previously expected!With just a month to go before the film hits theatres, there is still much debate about the film's official release date, with new reports shifting up the release date, initially set for Diwali 2026.
As per the official announcement, the film which was set for a November 8 release in India, to coincide with the festival of Diwali, will now reportedly release along with the global rollout on November 5.As per a report on Pinkvilla, the film's release date has allegedly been advanced in India to November 5 and paid previews scheduled for November 4. Although the makers have yet to officially confirm the revised schedule, various international posters have confirmed the early release.
‘Ramayana’ overseas release schedule
Paid preview shows in North America are reportedly planned for November 4, followed by a November 5 release. Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Germany, the rest of Europe and Latin America are also listed for November 5 releases. The UK, South Africa and Mauritius are currently scheduled for November 6 releases, while release dates for China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong remain undisclosed.
‘Ramayana’ to clash with ‘Godzilla Minus Zero’
While the Indian epic may have advanced its release, 'Godzilla Minus Zero' that is also set for a Diwali release, will reportedly give fans a chance to catch 'Early Access' screenings in IMAX on November 3. Meanwhile, its global box office rollout is slated for November 6. The upcoming Japanese monster film directed by
Takashi Yamazaki
, is the sequel to ‘Godzilla Minus One’ and has already attracted strong early reviews, with recent reports placing its Rotten Tomatoes score at 97%.
It is scheduled to release in Japan on November 3 and in North America on November 6.
