SEOUL, Sept 18 — Blackpink’s Rosé has released New Trick, an energetic garage-punk track about overcoming hardship and finding new ways to move forward.

The song was released today, with Yonhap News Agency reporting that Rosé’s agency The Black Label described it as carrying a message of pushing through life’s difficulties with one’s own “new trick”.

New Trick was co-produced by Amy Allen, who previously worked with Rosé on the hit APT, and Andrew Wells, who collaborated with the singer on Stay a Little Longer.

Its accompanying music video was made in collaboration with Apple to coincide with the release of the iPhone 18.

The video was directed by Dave Meyers, whose previous work includes projects with pop stars Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Ariana Grande.
