England are set to play a 50-over warm-up game against a Western Australia XI in Perth ahead of their eight-match white-ball tour of Australia in November and December.
England have scheduled a day game against a Western Australia XI at the WACA ground on November 7 as part of their preparation for the three-match ODI series that starts on November 13 at Perth Stadium. The second and third ODIs are on November 15 in Adelaide and November 18 in Hobart. England are likely to send a close to full strength ODI side to Australia, however some of their Test stars could be rested for the five-match T20I series that runs from November 21 to December 2 as they prepare for a Test tour of South Africa.
Australia will have a similar scenario with some of their Test bowlers needing to be managed coming out of a three match Test tour in South Africa that finishes on October 31 before the four-Test series against New Zealand begins on December 9.

England were criticised for not scheduling a fully fledged warm-up game in Perth ahead of the Ashes tour last year. They instead played an intrasquad match on a slow surface at Lilac Hill, a club ground in Perth's eastern suburbs, before losing the opening Test inside two days at Perth Stadium.
England's ODI team, under white-ball coach Brendon McCullum, have opted for a different approach this year.
"Aside from Jos, Joe and Adil Rashid, there's not a lot of experience in that side," McCullum said last month. "You've got to try to navigate what you can and try to include what you can alongside the opposition you're playing and make sure they are of high quality."
The quality of the WA XI remains to be seen after WA's One-Day domestic team started the season poorly. The tour game falls midway through an 11-day gap between two away Shield games in Adelaide and Melbourne.
It would be unlikely WA's Test and ODI players in Cameron Green, Josh Inglis and Cooper Connolly would be made available just six days after the completion of the third Test in South Africa.
Quicks Lance Morris, Jhye Richardson and Mahli Beardman could be possible inclusions depending on their fitness. Richardson and Morris' red-ball loads will be a factor in their availability.
