Soccer YouTuber Eman SV2 Launches Creator Company

Translate

EXCLUSIVE: Soccer YouTuber Eman SV2, whose channel has 6 million subscribers, is launching a creator company.

Eman SV2, whose real name is Eman Balogun (no relation to American soccer star Folarin Balogun), is opening Frenzy, which he said will operate in content, commerce and live experiences. The company launches in a few days’ time and has five staff plus freelancers and coaches for live events.

Eman SV2’s videos have achieved runaway success on YouTube. He has more than 6 million subscribers and has posted nearly 750 videos. Recent vids include ‘Whatever the Football Hits, You Win!’ and ‘I Made a Premier League Tournament’.

His company will expand out Eman SV2’s YouTube content by being a “studio rather than a personal channel,” it said, featuring new talent and formats that aren’t necessarily fronted by him. He will work with the likes of Kiki Footballer, Kassidy, Zayn Ali, and Eleni on formats like ‘Kids Footballer vs 20 Pro Goalkeepers’, ‘1 Pro Kid Footballer vs 100 Kids’ and the ‘Frenzy Winter Cup Tournament’.

The live experiences element will see Eman SV2 expand community events like soccer camps and tournaments, of which he has around held 17 from L.A. to Dubai to London, while on the commerce side he will sell footballs, clothing and accessories that features in his content. Eman SV2 previously had an online merch store but this has been closed to accommodate Frenzy.

Eman SV2 said: “My audience has grown up with me, and they’ve always wanted more than just videos. They want to play, meet each other and be part of something. Frenzy is football you can watch, play, wear and turn up to.

He added: “I didn’t want this to be another brand with my face on everything. Frenzy is built to be bigger than me, with new talent and new formats on the channel, and camps and tournaments where the community actually gets to meet.”
