Finally, You Can Paint Your Kitchen to Match Your Slow Cooker

As someone who is slowly but surely color-drenching my entire home, I’m not ashamed to admit that, yes, I would design an entire kitchen around a single stylish appliance. I know I’m not alone. And what could boost my home’s aesthetic more than a kitchen that matches the slow cooker?

Crock-Pot, the renowned slow cooker brand, has teamed up with Valspar to release six new slow-cooker colors, each with matching paint swatches. So if you’re looking to give your kitchen a makeover this fall, one of these color pairings may inspire your next design move.

The launch comes just ahead of fall, peak slow cooker season, at a time when color-drenching and using chic appliances as a focal point continue to be popular interior design trends.

“We wanted to reimagine what a slow cooker can look like in today’s kitchen — not only a hardworking appliance, but a beautifully designed piece that feels at home on the countertop,” Mallory Fuller-Guzman, a senior manager at Newell Brands, said in a statement regarding the launch. The new Crock-Pots are also meant to inspire people “to create spaces that feel personal and reflective of the way they live.”

Will somebody repaint their entire kitchen to match one of the new Crock-Pot colors? We’ll probably find out if we scroll Instagram long enough.

The new Crock-Pot colors

The six new colors for Crock-Pot and the Valspar paint color pairings include:

• Morning haze paired with Cottage Door
  • Complementary colors: Silver Dusk, Blue Kiss and Magnet Dapple
• Light Stone paired with Voyage
  • Complementary colors: Blue Skylights, Snowed In and Dream Weaver
• Ocean Fog paired with Renew Blue
  • Complementary colors: Secluded Garden, Du Jour and Green Trellis
• Desert Sage paired with Seaside Fog
  • Complementary colors: Low Tide, Lemon Edge and Homey Cream
• Chai Cream paired with Stone Manor
  • Complementary colors: Sunswept Sand, Bistro White and Groundbreaking
• Purple Potato paired with Purple Fury
  • Complementary colors: White Wool, Titanium Man and Tomcat

This summer, Valspar named Cottage Door its 2027 Color of the Year, a signal that blue could be the next big home trend.

And Crock-Pot and Valspar aren’t alone in making the kitchen more aesthetic. On Tuesday, KitchenAid unveiled its newest stand mixer, The Luminaire, in a shade called Peppercorn Blue.

So will 2027 become the year of out with the old and in with the blue? I suppose it depends on which color Crock-Pot you pick.
