PHILADELPHIA -- 76ers forward Jaylen Brown -- who signed what was then the richest contract in NBA history three years ago -- said a golden harp in his Boston apartment is his most-cherished acquisition.

"I think my best, my most favorite purchase," Brown told Atlanta rapper Lil Baby in an interview last month.

Brown also discussed the prized possession in detail and gave a tour of his Boston apartment in an interview with Architectural Digest published Monday.

As tunes from his harp played in the background, Brown told Lil Baby that it was made in the 18th century but that it was "reimagined" and is one of the most expensive pieces in his apartment.

He thanked his harpist, Li Shan Tan, the principal harp for the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, for being "an amazing therapist."

"Most of the time I use my harp, it's just me and my chef," Brown told Architectural Digest. "A memory raced through my head: me at the end of my 20s, with a harp [broken] in my unit. And how central it would be to the social hours of 10 p.m. to 4 a.m."

At times, Brown tries to play the harp himself.

"From time to time, when she is not around, I go and I try to re-create some sounds," Brown said.

The Boston Celtics chose Brown with the No. 3 pick in the 2016 draft. After 10 seasons and a championship in 2024, the Celtics traded Brown to Philadelphia this offseason for Paul George, two first-round picks (2028, 2031) and two second-round selections (2028, 2030).

"I grew up here age 19 to 29," Brown said. "I developed here in Boston as a young man.

"There's been other places, but this one -- I created it, it was crafted by my vision. This one felt the most like home."
