BSN Nigeria celebrates 82 transformational leaders, MBA Class of 2026 in Amsterdam

Business School Netherlands (BSN) Nigeria has celebrated the successful graduation of 82 new Action Learning MBA holders at the BSN global convocation and graduation ceremony held on Saturday, 26 September 2026, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The latest graduating class brings the number of BSN Action Learning MBA holders from Nigeria to approximately 1,156. The broader BSN Nigeria community now exceeds 2,343 members, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s contribution to professional learning, leadership development and organisational transformation.

The ceremony celebrated the graduates’ perseverance, academic achievement and commitment to applying knowledge to real organisational challenges. For the 82 professionals, it marked the culmination of a demanding journey that combined management education, applied research, critical reflection, and practical problem-solving.

BSN’s Action Learning approach places real business and organisational challenges at the centre of the learning experience. Participants develop their leadership capabilities by asking searching questions, examining assumptions, collaborating with others and taking informed action.

This approach encourages graduates to connect strategic thinking with implementation and to assess the practical results of their decisions.

Prof Lere Baale, Chief Executive of BSN Nigeria, congratulated the graduates on their dedication and resilience. He encouraged them to translate their qualifications into stronger organisations, ethical leadership and meaningful contributions to society. He emphasised that the enduring value of an MBA is demonstrated by the quality of a graduate’s decisions, the development of others, and the ability to deliver sustainable improvements.

The growing network of approximately 1,156 Nigerian Action Learning MBA holders represents a substantial community of professionals with a shared foundation in learning through action. Alongside the wider BSN Nigeria community of more than 2,343 members, it creates opportunities for continued learning, mentorship, collaboration and the exchange of practical experience.

The graduation ceremony featured an inspiring address by His Excellency, Ambassador Dr Mohammed Idris Haidara, Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, whose participation added significance to the celebration of Nigerian achievement within BSN’s international learning community.

Dr Olumide Ajayi, a director of Business School Netherlands Nigeria, also encouraged the MBA graduates to continue to transform their organisations, emphasising that they must remain competitive in the marketplace, closing with “Nigeria no deycarry last”

Dr Olubunmi Fatungase, the valedictorian, also delivered an inspiring address, contributing to a memorable occasion for the graduating class.

BSN Nigeria expressed sincere appreciation to its faculty, lecturers, examiners, Action Learning Coaches and Set Advisors for their guidance and commitment to the graduates’ development. It also recognised the dedication of BSN Nigeria staff and the wider BSN international team in supporting the learning journey and the successful ceremony.

The institution further acknowledged the families, employers and colleagues whose encouragement helped the graduates balance their studies with professional and personal responsibilities.
