Delhi Capitals secured Kiran Navgire for Rs. 75 lakh at the WPL 2027 Auction in Kochi, beating Mumbai Indians in a bidding contest.
Mumbai Indians opened the bidding at Rs. 40 lakh for the batter, who was part of the UP Warriorz squad but had an inconsistent run.
Delhi Capitals soon joined the contest, with the price climbing to Rs. 70 lakh as the two franchises went head-to-head.
Delhi eventually raised the bid to Rs. 75 lakh, forcing Mumbai Indians to pull out.
With only Rs. 90 lakh left in its purse, MI could not stretch further, allowing DC to secure Navgire.
