Siakpere salutes Oborevwori, Deltans on State’s 35th anniversary

The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Education Monitoring, Mr Clement Siakpere, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the people of Delta State on the occasion of the state’s 35th anniversary.

Siakpere, a former Registrar and Secretary to Council of the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, said the anniversary provided an opportunity for Deltans to reflect on the state’s journey, celebrate its achievements and renew their commitment to its continued development.

He commended Governor Oborevwori for what he described as his administration’s commitment to good governance, infrastructure development and the welfare of the people.

According to him, the governor’s administration has demonstrated a clear determination to consolidate the gains of previous administrations while implementing policies and projects aimed at improving the quality of life of residents across the state.

Siakpere noted that Delta State had, over the past 35 years, produced remarkable individuals and recorded significant progress in education, infrastructure, human capital development and other sectors of the economy.

He urged Deltans to remain united and supportive of efforts aimed at advancing the state, stressing that sustainable development required the collective contributions of government, the private sector and citizens.

The former PTI registrar also called on the people of the state to use the anniversary as a moment to appreciate the sacrifices of past leaders and stakeholders whose contributions had helped shape Delta into what it is today.

He expressed optimism that Delta State would attain greater heights under the leadership of Oborevwori, urging the governor to remain focused on his development agenda.

Siakpere wished Governor Oborevwori, his administration and all Deltans a peaceful and prosperous 35th anniversary, with renewed hope for a stronger and more prosperous Delta State.
