King congratulates Nene Royal
His Majesty the King congratulated Rattikarn “Preaw” Amloy, known as “Nene Royal”, winner of America’s Got Talent 2026.
At 5.09pm on Friday, Their Majesties the King and Queen granted an audience to Ms Rattikarn and her family at the Ambara Villa in Dusit Palace, Bangkok. They were accompanied by Phuket governor Chotnarin Kerdsom.
During the audience, Ms Rattikarn presented her winner’s certificate to His Majesty, who expressed his appreciation.
“I am very pleased and proud to see you display your talents.
"I watched the show and wanted to congratulate you. Please maintain your skills,” His Majesty said.
The King then returned the certificate to Ms Rattikarn as a memento.
Nene Royal, 16, is a Phuket native who developed an interest in the guitar at the age of seven.
She has since performed at markets and other venues around the island.
Her rendition of "Zombie" by The Cranberries during the America’s Got Talent audition round earned a unanimous “yes” from all four judges and helped propel her sudden rise to fame.
