The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Isoko North State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Engr. Orobosa Uzuazomaro Ashakah, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the people of Delta State on the 35th anniversary of the creation of the state.

Ashakah, in a goodwill message to mark the anniversary, described Delta State’s 35-year journey as one defined by resilience, growth and the contributions of its people to the development of the state and Nigeria.

He congratulated Governor Oborevwori for his leadership and commended Deltans for their sacrifices, enterprise and commitment to the progress of the state.

According to him, the anniversary provides an opportunity for Deltans to reflect on the achievements of the past 35 years while renewing their collective commitment to building a more prosperous, peaceful and united Delta.

Ashakah said the state was blessed with abundant human and natural resources, stressing that its future would depend largely on responsible leadership, unity and the effective harnessing of its potentials.

He called on Deltans, particularly young people, to remain committed to peace, innovation, entrepreneurship and community development, noting that they have critical roles to play in shaping the next chapter of the state’s development.

The APC candidate also urged political leaders and other stakeholders to place the interests of Delta above personal and partisan considerations, saying sustained development could only be achieved through collective efforts.

He expressed optimism that Delta would continue to occupy a strategic position in Nigeria’s economic and political landscape, while praying for greater peace, prosperity and development across the state.

Ashakah wished Governor Oborevwori and all Deltans a memorable 35th anniversary, urging residents to remain united and hopeful as the state enters another phase of its development.

“Delta at 35 is a story of resilience, enterprise and the indomitable spirit of our people. Let us celebrate our achievements, learn from our past and work together to build the Delta of our dreams,” he said.
