Frozen 3 Previewed at D23 — And Olaf Has a Girlfriend!

Disney previewed the highly anticipated Frozen 3 at D23 on Friday.

During a presentation featuring cast members Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad, it was confirmed that the film will center on Anna’s wedding to Kristoff, while also sending Anna and Elsa on what was described as “their biggest journey yet.” “We will find ourselves far from Arendelle in wild and dangerous land,” Menzel cautioned.

Perhaps even more exciting, Gad’s Olaf will get a love interest in the film: a snowwoman named Samantha. Gad even previewed an original song written in her honor.

Marking the first film in the beloved franchise in eight years, Frozen 3 is set to open in theaters on November 24th, 2027. A fourth film was reportedly made back-to-back with it, though a release date has yet to be announced.
