Millie Odhiambo Praises Ruto for Promoting Equal Development Across Kenya

Translate

Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has praised President William Ruto for championing equitable development across the country, applauding his commitment to ensuring that all regions benefit from government projects regardless of their political or geographical backgrounds.

Odhiambo’s remarks come amid the President’s repeated calls for equal distribution of development resources, with Ruto maintaining that every Kenyan deserves access to essential services and infrastructure irrespective of where they come from.

The Head of State has popularised the message “Usawa ni Sawa”, arguing that development should not be concentrated in a few regions but should reach every part of the country.

Ruto has cited investments in roads, electricity, markets, education and healthcare as some of the areas through which his administration is seeking to promote equitable development.

The President has also maintained that political differences, tribalism and discrimination should not determine which communities benefit from government projects.

Odhiambo’s praise adds to the growing political conversation around equitable resource allocation and the need to ensure that no region is left behind in Kenya’s development agenda.

Her remarks also highlight the significance of leaders recognising development initiatives beyond political affiliations, particularly in a country where regional balance in resource allocation has remained a major subject of public debate.
