KUALA LUMPUR: A 5-year-old girl died while two others were injured in a six-vehicle crash along Jalan Kuching Saturday afternoon.

The girl, who was in the rear passenger seat of a Perodua Bezza, died from severe head injuries while being taken to Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said the 3.44pm crash involved five cars and a motorcycle.

He said traffic was slow-moving from the city centre towards Segambut when a BYD Seal rear-ended the Bezza, which was driven by the girl's 30-year-old father.

The impact caused the Bezza to collide with a motorcycle, a Nissan Almera, a Toyota Alphard and a Perodua Myvi.
