The Transformers franchise is turning to two familiar faces for its next live-action film.
As reported by Deadline, Steven Spielberg has been tapped to oversee the creative direction of the next live-action Transformers movie alongside producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Furthermore, Michael Bay is also in early talks to return as director after leaving the franchise following 2017's Transformers: The Last Knight. The movie is based on a script by Jason Fuchs and will be set in modern day. Plot and casting details remain under wraps.
