Bangladesh, Ireland, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will join Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, Thailand and United Arab Emirates in the ICC Women's Emerging Nations Trophy between November 12 and 25 in Ajman in the UAE.

The second edition of this tournament will be contested by ten teams, while the first one had eight. The ten teams will be divided into two groups of five, followed by a Super Six stage and then the final.

Ireland, PNG, Scotland, Sri Lanka and the UAE are in Group A, while Bangladesh, Netherlands, Pakistan, Thailand and Zimbabwe are in Group B.

"Bringing together five Full Members and five Associate Members will create valuable opportunities for players to test themselves against a wider range of opposition and gain experience in a high-performance environment," Gaurav Saxena, ICC general manager - Events and Cricket Operations, said. "We look forward to welcoming the participating teams to Ajman for the second edition of the tournament."

Thailand are the defending champions, having won the tournament at home in 2025.
