#SHOWBIZ: Marvel star Simu Liu marries Allison Hsu in romantic French wedding

LOS ANGELES: Marvel Cinematic Universe star Simu Liu has officially tied the knot with his fiancée, Allison Hsu, in an intimate wedding ceremony in France over the weekend.

According to People Magazine, the Avengers: Doomsday actor, 37, and the digital marketing manager at Interscope Records, 30, are no strangers to romantic French getaways.

The couple first got engaged in Paris in May 2025.

Following his proposal beneath the Eiffel Tower, the Shang-Chi star posted a picture of Hsu's engagement ring on Instagram, captioning it simply: "Us forever."

In a touching follow-up message, Liu reflected on their journey together, writing: "From weekends in Paris, day trips to Palm Springs, long nights on set, afternoons vegging on the couch and everything in between, I choose you forever and always."

First linked back in September 2022, the couple's news sparked a wave of warm messages from celebrity friends.

MCU co-star Florence Pugh commented, "Ahhhhhhh how amazing! Sending love to you both", while musician John Legend and hitmaker Finneas also sent their congratulations.

Speaking about their relationship in 2023, Liu confessed that meeting Hsu brought a huge sense of relief.

"I think everyone knows the feeling of being in a situation where they're not fully happy, and then all of a sudden for that to change... it's such a breath of relief," he shared, admitting he used to wonder if his expectations for love were unrealistic.

Looking to the future, the action star has already expressed a strong desire to start a family, noting that watching his close childhood friends become parents inspired him to do the same.
