The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration earlier issued a gale warning over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon, as well as the eastern seaboard of Visayas.
The weather bureau warned that sea travel is risky for all types or tonnage of vessels.
“PPA does not cancel trips. If PCG issues no sail policy, trips are automatically cancelled because ships are not allowed to sail,” the ports authority said.
It added, “Shipping lines may also cancel trips, subject to compliance with the terms of their CPC issued by Marina.” /apl
