Amazon is pushing a new Prime member perk just in time for the holiday travel season.

Beginning today (Oct. 2), Amazon Prime members can use their membership to save $0.20 per gallon at more than 7,500 bp, Amoco, and participating ampm and Thorntons locations across the U.S. every Friday. Billed as “Fuel Up Fridays,” the gas discount doubles the $0.10 per gallon discount that is already part of the Prime member benefits available to subscribers.

According to AAA, the average fuel price per gallon right now is $4.40. With the 20-cent discount, drivers can save an average of $3-5 each time they fuel up. The discount is even higher in places like L.A. where gas prices are hitting over $7 per gallon.

Fuel Up Fridays runs through January 29. To claim the discounted gas rate, you’ll need to sign up for the earnify app and then connect your account with your Prime membership here (you also need to activate your account for the everyday $0.10 per gallon discount).

Once your accounts are linked, you can redeem the discount using the earnify app or by entering the phone number associated with your Prime membership.

The gas perk adds to the growing list of Amazon Prime member benefits, which already include free shipping, free grocery delivery, free music streaming on Amazon Music Unlimited, free TV shows and movies streaming on Prime Video, free photo storage, free GrubHub+ and more. Amazon Prime members also get first dibs on Prime Day deals, including the upcoming Prime Big Deal Days in October.

An Amazon Prime membership currently costs $14.99 per month, or $139 per year if you pay annually (a savings of 23% versus going month to month). Amazon also offers discounted rates for young adults (ages 18-24) and those on government assistance.

Don’t want to commit? Test out the service with a 30-day free trial here.
