Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have congratulated midfielder Otaniyi Taofeek after netting his first goal for the Oluyole Warriors this weekend.

Taofeek opened his goals account for 3SC in their 2-2 draw with Ikorodu City, in Sunday’s week 10 fixture of the EUROMATCH NPFL at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.

The midfielder broke the deadlock when he netted just three minutes into the contest. 3SC raced to a 2-0 lead before Ikorodu City fought back to draw level.

Reacting to Taofeek’s first leg, 3SC took to their X handle to salute their midfielder.

“A big moment for our midfielder, Otaniyi Taofeek as he nets his first goal for Shooting Stars in the Southwest Derby.”

Meanwhile, 3SC secured their first points on the road this season following their 2-2 draw with Ikorodu City in the Southwest derby on Sunday.

Prior to Sunday’s clash, the Ibadan-based club had lost all four of their away fixtures scoring just twice while conceding seven on the road.

Ikorodu City have been ruthless in front of their fans, including a 2-0 win over Kwara United in their last home game.
