Perfect announces shareholders’ approval of merger agreement

Translate

Perfect Corp. (PERF) said shareholders approved the company’s proposed merger with ProjectNY, an entity controlled by founder and CEO Alice H. Chang, at an extraordinary general meeting.

The merger agreement, the plan of merger, and the transactions contemplated thereby, including the merger, were approved by approximately 99.99% of the total votes cast by the holders of the issued and outstanding shares of the company present and voting in person or by proxy at the meeting.

In July, the AI-powered beauty and fashion technology company signed a definitive merger agreement under which ProjectNY would acquire it for $2 per share in cash, taking it private.
