First Glastonbury 2027 tickets sell out in 30 minutes

Translate

The first round of tickets for Glastonbury Festival have sold out in less than 30 minutes, according to organisers.

After taking a break in 2026, the event will return next year on June 23-27 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

On Thursday the first lot of tickets – coach tickets – went on sale at 6pm BST, but they sold out in less than half an hour.

Posting on X at 6.31pm, See Tickets said: “Coach tickets for @glastonbury are now SOLD OUT. The general admission ticket sale will take place Sunday at 9am (BST).”

General admission tickets for next year’s festival cost £408 – an increase of £29.50 from 2025.

Those who want to purchase a ticket this weekend must have already pre-registered on the festival’s website.

Registration for tickets closed on September 25, and will not reopen until after the October ticket sales.

Following a fallow year, the headliners for the 2027 festival are yet to be announced.

But despite heavy speculation from fans, both Oasis and organiser Emily Eavis have confirmed the band are not lined up to perform.

Last week the band – which includes brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher – announced a series of shows across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US in 2027, with a gap at the time when Glastonbury is being held.

While Oasis are set to play concerts at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on the Friday and Saturday of Glastonbury, they do not currently have one of their own gigs scheduled on the Sunday.

However responding to a fan on Instagram who begged “please say you’ve got Oasis”, Eavis replied: “Sorry Jimmy, not this time!”

In August, Liam also hit back after an Oasis fan account suggested there was a high likelihood the band could play Worthy Farm again.

The original post read: “According to The Scotsman, Oasis are among the favourites to headline Glastonbury 2027, with odds of 4/1. Could we see them return to the Pyramid Stage?”

The 53-year-old replied: “It’s not HAPPENING so all you croc wearing flag waving shit c**** can calm the f*** down.”

The 1975, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, and Olivia Rodrigo headlined the 2025 festival.
