AmpliTech reports $21.7M follow-on order for 5G O‑RAN radios, backlog rises above $51 million
AmpliTech (AMPG) has received a $21.7M follow-on purchase order for its 5G O‑RAN radio products, the largest single purchase order in the company’s history. The order supports deployments for an Asian mobile network operator (MNO) tied to a previously announced $78 million 5G O‑RAN radio Letter of Intent (LOI) program. Including this latest order, cumulative purchase orders under the LOI program total approximately $34 million, or nearly 44% of the LOI value.
As a result of the $21.7 million order, AmpliTech said its total company backlog increased to more than $51 million, which the company described as an all‑time record.
