Quentin Tarantino, your new action star is here. And her name is LISA.

The BLACKPINK icon stars in the music video for “Tarantino,” which arrived at the stroke of midnight along with the release of her new six-track collection, Press Play.

Directed by Grammy Award-winning filmmaker James Mackel, the visual is three-and-a-half minutes of spy stuff, our hero, dressed to impress, making short work of the many villains who lurk in her hotel.

LISA is on the watch with a flight to catch, and has a job to complete.  She’s dressed for success as she leads a nifty choreographed routine with the hotel’s chambermaids and bellboys, and cooks up a flurry of punches, kicks and more en route to beating the stuffing out of the kitchenhands.

“Got my nails really long like the barrel of my gun and my lipstick all over your face,” she sings, over the top of a sneaky beat. “I’m a boss, I’m a don when I’m driving to the sun. It’s a movie, baby, come and press play.”

In the end, she gets a message through to her “favorite director,” who just happens to be in the building. Like a good Tarantino device, that red letter slipped under the door doesn’t give away its secrets.

LISA teased the song in recent days through her socials and by way of a promo for PlayStation’s limited-edition “LISA” DualSense wireless controller, which she had a hand in designing. The K-pop star shows off the device, briefly, in the “Tarantino” clip when she autographs one for a fan.

LISA’s Press Play EP features the lead single “SaWaDiKa,” which debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 23 on the Billboard Global 200 in September. He debut solo album, Alter Ego, dropped in 2025, and speaked at No. 7 on the all-genres Billboard 200.
