The Witcher is having a massive resurgence as of late, its recently released remaster proving to be raucously successful among fans, critics, and newcomers alike. It is perhaps no surprise that one of the best-selling games of all time continues to be a triumphant success all these years later, and even less surprising that its developer wishes to capitalize further on its success through additional entries, spin-offs, and more.
Indeed, CD Projekt Red's penchant for expanding upon The Witcher has proven to be tremendously beneficial for fans (albeit not their wallets), as it has ensured that it not only managed to garner several spin-offs of The Witcher 3's iconic card game alone, but story-driven expansions and expanded media have continuously crawled out of the woodwork. With new Witcher projects releasing all the time, one may not have the time for yet another one. However, should you be excited about any upcoming Witcher release, it should be No Man's Land, an all-new project set to drop soon.
With The Witcher 4 getting official updates increasingly frequently nowadays, the build-up of excitement has suddenly ramped up, with fans clamouring for even more information regarding Ciri's all-new adventure. It has also facilitated a hunger for even more Witcher content, of which the recently released remaster will almost certainly prove to be a satiating course, at least for a short while. However, there are, thankfully, even more Witcher-related projects scheduled to be released beyond the remaster but before the upcoming fourth mainline entry, including the aforementioned No Man's Land.
Announced back in 2025 but then subsequently delayed, The Witcher: No Man's Land is a tabletop wargaming experience utilizing a whole host of miniatures and dice. Developed by Monster Fight Club, the same folks behind the well-received Cyberpunk RED: Combat Zone, No Man's Land allows players to take control of a handful of miniatures and partake in skirmishes against either one another, roaming monsters, or both. Monster Fight Club's delaying of the tabletop experience has allowed it to refine its rules and produce even more ways of enjoying the experience, making its full release all the more exciting.
We now officially have a release date as well, courtesy of Wargamer. After reaching out to a spokesperson for Monster Fight Club, the website was informed that the game "will be releasing in Fall of 2026." While a more specific date hasn't been confirmed, this is the best update we've had about the experience thus far, especially as it means we should be seeing it drop in the next few months. The developer also revealed the two-player starter kit that will be released at launch, as well as the contents it includes. Those who opt to buy it will get:
-
Geralt's Warband
- Geralt of Rivia
- Resolute Farmer
- Blacksmith
- Brazen Sorceress
- Eager Surgeon
-
Letho's Warband
- Letho of Gulet
- Gruff Captain
- Dutiful Soldier
- Astute Crossbowman
- Authoritative Priest
-
Monsters
- Griffin
- Striga
-
Other content
- 22″ by 30″ playmat
- Scenery
- Cards, dice, and tokens
- Rulebook.
This isn't the only Witcher board game releasing soon, but it is one of the most exciting, as it joins a plethora of similarly styled experiences based on video games. It looks set to be similar to the likes of Halo: Flashpoint and the aforementioned Cyberpunk RED, both of which are utterly compelling experiences. For fans of miniatures, The Witcher, and, of course, tabletop wargaming, The Witcher: No Man's Land will likely be the perfect game for you when it launches in Fall 2026.
