Both Diddy‘s family and the Bureau of Prisons are denying recent reports about the scuffle the incarcerated mogul allegedly got into with fellow inmate Christopher “Dudus” Coke, the leader of the infamous Jamaican crime organization the Shower Posse.

Earlier Thursday morning (Oct. 15), The Breakfast Club’s Loren LoRosa reported that she talked with someone in Diddy’s family and was told that a fight never happened.

“I spoke to a family member, a family member of Diddy’s, who tells me this story is completely false,” she shared. “There was not a fight at all.” She added that the two inmates are supposedly on separate sides of the New Jersey prison and don’t usually cross paths. “From what I’m told, there’s not even an investigation on this happening yet,” LoRosa continued. “But they’re on two different sides of Fort Dix. I’m told that [Coke] is on what they call the east side and Diddy’s on a whole different side. They wouldn’t even be interacting every single day.”

The Bureau of Prisons seems to confirm this reporting, telling TMZ, “We can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen.”

Diddy’s team stood by The Breakfast Club‘s reporting and mentioned the statement given by the Bureau of Prisons mentioned above. “We believe the initial reports were inaccurate, and the family’s account is consistent with what we’ve been able to determine,” they told Billboard. “The Bureau of Prisons has also publicly stated that the alleged altercation did not occur. We have no information that would contradict those denials.”

Diddy’s tentative release date is set for March 8, 2028, and has been seeking a pardon with the help of Mike Tyson, according to the retired boxer.
