Coronation Street airs rising tensions in the Platt house ahead of Jodie Ramsey exposure in early ITVX release

Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) looks set to expose Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown) in Coronation Street.
The enigmatic character's downfall is well overdue, and after weeks of tormenting her sister Shona Platt (Julia Goulding), it seems that her comeuppance may have finally arrived.
Shona is convinced that she keeps hearing her baby Harper crying, though this is actually a recording made by Jodie that she's using to convince her sister that she's suffering from some form of psychosis.
In today's episode, Shona was frantically searching the living room at No. 8, and told her sister that the noise didn't sound like Harper. She was convinced that it was a recording, and she needed to find where it was coming from.
Desperate to plant the evidence on someone else, Jodie slipped Lily Platt's (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) phone into her pocket and later took it to the Viaduct Bistro, where the family were celebrating Shona's birthday.

The sound of Harper sobbing for her mother then began to fill the room. Shona rushed over to the speaker's docking system and realised that her step-daughter was seemingly responsible, and wondered whether she was jealous of the attention that her younger sibling had been getting.
Lily was furious and outright denied all knowledge of the incident, while a nervous Bethany watched on. Of course, the reason she's so reluctant to come clean about Jodie's malicious behaviour is because she knows that the schemer also possesses a recording of her talking to Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) about their night of passion.
Later, at the Platt residence, Shona was furiously packing her bags and announcing her intention to leave. She couldn't bear to be under the same roof as Lily - still convinced that she was responsible.
Jodie manipulated the situation further by continuing to push the possibility that Lily is jealous of Harper, and Shona was inclined to agree. She then made her way to the Chariot Square Hotel and began reading a forum for mothers, though was confused by one of the posts.

It had been planted there by Jodie, and read: "I'm Shona, a first time mum, and my daughter has serious health issues."
Shona was baffled by the statement, knowing that she clearly didn't post it - and she's not a first time mum.
Before she had opportunity to investigate, Bethany knocked on the hotel room door and said that she needed to tell her something.
Will Bethany reveal all?
