The Six Kings Slam tennis exhibition in Saudi Arabia has been postponed to December 27-30 following a series of Houthi attacks on the kingdom that have raised security concerns and disrupted air travel, organisers announced on Wednesday.
The third edition of the tournament, featuring some of the world’s leading men’s singles players, was originally scheduled to take place in Riyadh on October 21, 22 and 24.
The postponement comes after Yemen’s Houthi rebels launched attacks on Saudi Arabia, including strikes targeting Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, forcing authorities to suspend airport operations.

Riyadh Season, which organises the event, said the decision followed an assessment of the organisational and logistical difficulties involved in staging the tournament and their potential impact on spectators.
The exhibition was set to feature Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur and Learner Tien.
The Six Kings Slam, which made its debut in 2024, is among the richest exhibition events in tennis, with participants guaranteed substantial appearance fees and the winner receiving a multimillion-dollar prize.
Italian Jannik Sinner won the first two editions, defeating Alcaraz in both finals.
