The Northeasterly windflow is expected to affect extreme Northern Luzon, while the easterlies will prevail over Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas on October 13, 2026, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Monday.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the bureau said the northeasterly windflow is forecast to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.

The easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, and Quezon.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are forecast over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and the rest of Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON due to the Easterlies.

In the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are likewise expected, brought by localized thunderstorms.

As of 3 p.m., a tropical depression was located outside the Philippine area of responsibility, 2,970 kilometers east of Central Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 45 kmh and gusts of up to 55 kmh.

Moderate winds and coastal waters are expected in Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, and the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas. Waves are expected to run from 1.5 meters to 2.5 meters.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected in the rest of the country, with waves running from 0.6 meters to 1.8 meters.

At the PAGASA Science Garden weather station in Diliman, Quezon City, the highest temperature recorded on Monday reached 31.5 degrees Celsius at 2 p.m., while the lowest temperature was logged at 24.5 degrees Celsius at 4:00 a.m.
