Katie Zacharia Out As Trump’s White House Press Secretary After Less Than A Week In Job

Katie Zacharia has been ousted as White House press secretary after less than a week in the job, CNN and other outlets reported on Friday.
Her exit follows middling reviews for her debut press briefing on Tuesday, which lasted just 14 minutes, but also a stream of coverage on her reference to herself as a lawyer even though she did not pass the California bar exam. She was pressed on those details in an appearance on Hannity on Thursday night and Fox & Friends on Friday morning.
Per CNN, Trump told reporters earlier that he told Zacharia on Friday morning, “Honestly, if I were you, I’d reconsider.”
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
