Indian Super League confirms four-year EA Sports FC licensing partnership

The Indian Super League (ISL) will continue to feature in the EA Sports FC franchise after announcing a new four-year licensing agreement with EA Sports.

The agreement ensures India’s top-flight football competition remains part of the popular football video game series, including EA Sports FC 27.

The ISL announced the extension on Friday, confirming that the League will retain its presence in the franchise under the long-term licensing partnership.

The agreement allows the competition and its clubs to continue featuring within the EA Sports ecosystem, extending the ISL’s visibility among football gaming audiences in India and globally.

The League has been part of the EA Sports football franchise in recent editions and the latest agreement provides continuity for the next four years.

The renewed partnership also strengthens ISL’s digital presence at a time when football gaming remains an important platform for leagues and clubs to engage with audience beyond regular matchdays.

From FIFA 22 to Brand New Contract

The ISL made its console debut in EA Sports’ FIFA 22 in 2021, two years after first featuring in FIFA Mobile. It remained in the series through FIFA 23 and the EA Sports FC era, with a new four-year agreement extending that association from FC 27 onward.
