Parañaque terminal PITX expects at least 1.8M passengers for Undas

MANILA, Philippines — The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) on Thursday said it expects nearly 1.9 million passengers in its terminal from October 25, 2026 to November 4, 2026.
The estimate comes as many Filipinos are expected to observe this year’s All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day (Undas).
The multi-modal transport hub provides daily provincial and in-city transportation services.

“Based on its adjusted passenger traffic forecast, PITX expects approximately 1.89 million passengers during the 11-day period, with the highest passenger volume projected on Friday, October 30, at around 200,000 passengers,” PITX said in a press release.
It adjusted the expected passenger volume during Undas by 10 percent, or to 210,000 passengers, as it considered the possible influx of passengers who would choose to travel during November 16 to 18, 2026.
These dates are declared as special non-working days in the National Capital Region, in line with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summits and Related Summits.

“Coordination with concerned agencies will also focus on traffic management within and around the terminal, public safety, and emergency response readiness during peak travel days,” the press release added.
PITX also reminded passengers to secure their tickets in advance, follow their trip schedules, and allow enough time to reach the terminal, given the traffic congestion. /apl
