Reality star McCall DaPron has been blasted after unveiling her controversial Halloween costume.

The 36-year-old, who is soon set to appear in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, dressed as Jackie Kennedy on the day of President John F Kennedy's assassination.

DaPron donned a pink skirt suit and pink pillbox hat, reminiscent of the outfit worn by the former First Lady on the day her husband was killed back in November 1963.

In several images, DaPron posed alongside her husband Kirk, who appeared to be the slain POTUS. Two of their kids dressed as Kennedy children while the other two wore Secret Service garb.

The small-screen star shared several snaps to Instagram, where many fans criticized the costumes, calling them 'distasteful' and 'insensitive.'

McCall, who is the sister of Mayci Neeley from the original Mormon Wives series, has since turned off the comments on her post, but has left the photos up.

The Daily Mail has reached out to DaPron for comment.

Prior to turning off the comments, digital detractors weighed in, per People.

One said playing dress-up as the Kennedy family on the day of the assassination was 'appallingly distasteful.'

'[You're] dressing up as a woman on the scariest day of her life,' one Instagram user wrote.

The controversy comes before DaPron even debuts on her highly anticipated reality show.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County will premiere on Hulu on November 12.

Her fellow cast members include Jen Affleck, who originally starred on the Utah-based reality series, as well as YouTuber Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Bobbi Althoff, Salome Andrea, Ashleigh Pease and Madison Bontempo.

DaPron is not the first celebrity to face backlash for their Halloween costume this year.

She shared photos of herself standing beside her husband Kirk DaPron, who wore a gray suit and blue tie akin to what the former president wore on that infamous day. Two of the DaProns' kids were dressed up as the Kennedy children while the other two wore Secret Service garb

Earlier this week, Paris Hilton was slammed for dressing up as the Disney princess Belle and having her family wear matching Beauty and the Beast costumes.

She was criticized for dressing up as the main character while her kids portrayed supporting characters.

Her son Phoenix, three, was dressed up as the candelabra Lumiere, while her daughter London, two, was the teacup Chip. Hilton's husband Carter Reum was dressed up as The Beast.

Some said Hilton was being 'narcissistic' and 'stealing [the] spotlight from [her] kids.'

The socialite promptly fired back at critics on Thursday in the comments section of her post and said she dressed up her kids as they had requested.

'Beauty and the Beast is one of their favorite movies,' she wrote. 'London said she wanted to dress up as Chip. She said it was her favorite character in the movie.'

Others came to her defense, branding the costumes as 'iconic' and 'adorable.'

'This is so cute! I have always wanted to wear Belle's dress! You're living it and it looks fabulous on you,' one user gushed.

'This just in: Women who have children are no longer allowed to be princesses. Their life is over. It's only mother now,' a different user sarcastically fired back at a hater.

Another person pointed out that her kids may be 'too little' to 'remember their Halloween costumes' so she should 'enjoy her MILF era to the fullest while she can.'
