Kenya Power has announced planned electricity interruptions in parts of Nairobi, Machakos, Kakamega and Bungoma counties on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

The utility company said the interruptions will facilitate maintenance work on its electricity network. Customers in the affected areas have been advised to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the scheduled outages.

Nairobi Region

In Nairobi, parts of Westlands will experience an interruption from 9am to 5pm.
