Judge grants Dolly Parton’s estate’s temporary restraining order against her nephew

Hours after filing a complaint with the court, a Tennessee judge officially granted Dolly Parton's estate a temporary restraining order against her nephew Bryan Seaver and his private security company.

Dolly Parton’s estate gains a temporary restraining order against Bryan Seaver

On September 22, She’s Alive, LLC, the ‘Jolene’ singer’s estate that she had set up to protect her professional property and business interests, filed for a restraining order against her nephew, Bryan Seaver.

The move came after Seaver and his security detail had all been fired from her estate. In the court filings, as shared online by CBS News, the estate alleged that Seaver had been threatening violence and had promised to destroy his aunt’s legacy.A day after, a Tennessee judge officially granted a restraining order to Parton’s estate against Seaver, who had been the one to announce her passing to the world. According to the restraining order, neither Seaver nor anyone from his security company is allowed to talk or be within 1,000 feet of any of the estate’s employees, attorneys, and business partners.

A hearing into the matter has been scheduled for October 7.

Bryan Seaver denies all allegations

In a statement to TMZ following the filing, Seaver denied all of the allegations that had been made against him. Instead, he shared that the messages that were being used as ‘evidence’ for the filing had all been taken out of context. He shared, “I am a career soldier and military contractor and do conduct arms deals for foreign governments. I am a security professional, and I am a killer.

However, nothing in this lawsuit was a threat, and most of the comments I stand by.

I was talking frankly in a private way with Danny, who I thought was my friend, and he fancies himself a gangster. A lot of these messages are two guys having rage talk and crying on the phone together while we were grieving."In another statement to ABC News about the restraining order being granted against him and his company, he added, “[The temporary restraining order is spurious and simply a publicity stunt.”

Dolly Parton’s sister Frieda Parton defends nephew Bryan Seaver

Following the ongoing public backlash and allegations against Bryan Seaver, Parton's younger sister Freida took to her Instagram account on September 23 to share her thoughts on the matter. Taking to the stories section, she lent her support to Seaver and denied that there were any rifts within the family over anything. She wrote, “I'll say this and this only: there is no feud within our family. No one among the Parton/Owens family is fighting over Dolly's estate.

We all love Bryan, just as we all love each other. I love you all!! Freida Parton.”

Bryan Seaver was the person who revealed that Dolly Parton had left for her heavenly abode on August 25. He shared that the two had discussed doing this well before her passing.
