The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat received Ugandan Vice President Jessica Alupo and her accompanying delegation, joined by Egyptian Ambassador to Uganda Mohamed Farouk during her official visit to Egypt.

Museum Executive President al-Tayeb Abbas welcomed the delegation, presenting an overview of the museum’s history and cultural mission.

The visit included a tour of the central exhibition hall, the Royal Mummies Hall, and the Egyptian Textiles Hall, where the delegation viewed artifacts spanning Egyptian history.

Alupo expressed admiration for the museum displays, particularly the Royal Mummies Hall experience, and praised the warm reception while emphasizing the Nile River’s role as a historic link between Egypt, Uganda, and Nile Basin nations.

At the tour’s conclusion, Abbas presented Alupo with a commemorative gift.
