Translate

JOHOR BARU: Kota Tinggi recorded the country's highest Air Pollutant Index (API) reading at 170 this morning, as all eight air quality monitoring stations in Johor recorded unhealthy levels.

Environment Department readings showed that Pasir Gudang recorded the state's second-highest API reading at 168, followed by Pengerang (164), Larkin (160), Tangkak (156), Batu Pahat and Kluang (152 each), and Segamat (129).

PM2.5 was the dominant pollutant at all eight monitoring stations.

An API reading of between 101 and 200 is classified as unhealthy, while readings between 201 and 300 are categorised as very unhealthy.
