Je'Von Evans and Penta will challenge The Vision for the World Tag Team Championships at Crown Jewel 2026, and they more or less pushed their way into it. Adam Pearce made the match official after both men confronted him backstage on RAW, with Evans refusing to let the earlier attack slide and Penta wanting a shot at the titles too. It becomes another championship bout on the November 7 card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which already has two champion-versus-champion matches and a Last Man Standing clash.

Adam Pearce Makes Je'Von Evans and Penta's WWE Tag Team Championship Match Official for Crown Jewel

This feud has been building for weeks. Penta teamed with Evans on the October 5 episode to beat Bron Breakker and Austin Theory in a non-title tag match.

Then Penta won the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match on October 10 in New Orleans, and Breakker showed up during his celebration the next night on RAW.

Evans pushed Penta out of the way and took the Spear himself, which left him banged up going into this week.

He still came out for the opening match against WWE Champion Sami Zayn, and Zayn retained.

Penta appeared with his Money in the Bank briefcase, seemingly getting ready to cash in, but Breakker hit him before he could try anything.

Breakker then turned to Evans, Penta tried to help his fellow wrestler, and Bronson Reed finished things with a Tsunami on Evans and another one on Penta.

That beatdown gave both men a reason to chase The Vision, and Evans took it backstage to Pearce. He made clear he wasn't ready to move on, telling the RAW General Manager, “It's not done.”

Penta was already pushing for a tag title shot himself. Pearce asked a simple question, “How about Crown Jewel?” and Penta's reply was just as short: “Perfect.”

So the pair now get to go after the titles at WWE's upcoming premium live event, and it's a match built on a personal grudge as much as a title.

The Vision Prepare to Defend Their World Tag Team Championships at Crown Jewel for the First Time Since July

Breakker and Theory are the champions here, and this will be their first defence of the World Tag Team Championships since winning the belts on the July 7 episode of RAW.

That's a long reign without a defence, so Evans and Penta are walking into a team that has had the gold for months. They also need to work as a unit, since both have spent recent weeks reacting to what Breakker did to them as individuals.

The rest of the show is stacked as well. Roman Reigns is set to face Sami Zayn for the Men's Crown Jewel Championship, and Liv Morgan takes on Chelsea Green for the Women's Crown Jewel Championship.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are also scheduled for the Last Man Standing match, so the tag title bout joins a card with no shortage of headline matches.
