Michael Tetteh Kwetey, a contender for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship, has picked Number 1 on the ballot paper ahead of the party’s regional elections scheduled for November 2026.

In a message to party supporters, Mr Kwetey described the position as symbolic, saying it represents the values and renewed direction he hopes to champion for the NDC in the Greater Accra Region.

“Number 1 is symbolic. It represents unity, hard work and the new direction we all desire for our beloved party in Greater Accra,” he said, expressing confidence in his vision for the party’s future in the region.

He urged his supporters and party faithful to remain hopeful and committed to the campaign, insisting that the contest was far from over.

“It’s not over until it’s over!” he declared.
